Maggies Aberdeen at The Elizabeth Montgomerie Building is located at Foresterhill hospital. The fundraising target was £3 million, which funded the building of the centre and a years running costs. The campaign has been the fastest in Maggie’s history, completed in just over three years, and has ensured people in Grampian with cancer, as well as their friends and families, will be able to access professional cancer support in an uplifting environment.The Centre has been designed by Norwegian architects Snohetta, which is now open meaning all major NHS cancer centres in Scotland have a Maggie’s Centre.
