  next 20 years.
• 1 in 3 people in Scotland will develop cancer during their lifetime.
• 1 in 9 males and 1 in 7 females will develop cancer before the
  age of 65.
• 2.4% of men and 3.2% of women in Scotland are living with cancer.
• Over 15,000 people die of cancer in Scotland each year.

Maggie's Centres offer free, comprehensive support for anyone affected by cancer. They complement the work of the NHS with a network of independent cancer caring centres. When Colin first visited a Maggie's Centre he knew that this was the sort of place that would have been so useful to his mother and family. The Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation is delighted to be working with them to increase their network of support.
